LIBER is seeking for a Project Officer

to work in cooperation with SPARC Europe

Are you dynamic and flexible, and would you like to work for an international library organisation? Do you have broad knowledge and understanding of the current movements in the library business? Are you interested in managing European projects?

Do you have talent for working with stakeholders from different countries? Do you have experience with planning and implementing dissemination and communication activities? Are you keen to discover new funding opportunities for LIBER and SPARC Europe members? Do you have a good oral and written knowledge of English, and a familiarity with other European languages?

LIBER (Association of European Research Libraries / Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche) and SPARC Europe (The Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition), two international library organizations that work closely together, are looking for a Project Officer (see the vacancy here).

The initial appointment (40 hours per week) will be for 2 years, subject to a positive evaluation after 1 year. The appointment is open to renewal at the end of this period by mutual consent. The post of Project Officer will be located in the LIBER Office in the National Library of the Netherlands in The Hague. Regular travel outside The Netherlands will be required.
