University Libraries, Universities and Open Access University libraries have played a major role in advocating for open access. Now open access is moving into the mainstream. How can libraries make open access work? How can universities support the shift to open access? How can universities support the transition to open access by changing the reward systems? Can libraries/universities reallocate funds from the big deals to the support of open access publishing? These are the issues and questions this session will address.
