Bringing Europe’s Open Data Champions together

As part of its Open Scholars Programme, SPARC Europe looks forward to bringing together Open Data Champions from across Europe in the coming months.

Who are the researchers who see making their data open essential for research and/or society and what are their stories? What still needs to be done to reveal and release more data? Who are the institutional policy makers who believe that their employees need to open their data as a matter of academic integrity for example?

SPARC Europe, together with Europe’s academic community, will collect a range of views and experiences from Europe’s Open Data community in this new showcase. It will build on the work done in its Europe’s Open Access Champions.
